The Experience Oman Muscat Marathon is back , bigger and more vibrant than ever, returning to the Sultanate’s capital on 23–24 January 2026. Recognised as one of Oman’s premier sporting events, this two-day festival of running attracts participants from across the globe and celebrates inclusivity, health, community engagement, and national pride.

Building on the success of the 2025 edition, where more than 13,000 runners from over 60 countries competed across a range of distances and categories, the 2026 marathon promises an even more dynamic experience for elite athletes and community runners alike. The 2025 event, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism with Al Mouj Muscat as the founding partner and host venue, showcased Oman’s stunning landscape and vibrant international participation.
